| Abstract: The collection is necessary to establish a set of minimum data elements to be collected and transferred between State migrant education programs (MEPs) as part of a larger, mandated Migrant Student Information Exchange (MSIX). State educational agencies (SEAs) with MEPs will transfer the minimum data elements using the MSIX in order to facilitate timely class placement, credit accrual for migratory children. |
